Forget Coupon Clipping--Price Match Instead

From Blog&Save. I learned just the other day that my vet will price match any online site's price for flea control products--I mentioned that Revolution is $30 cheaper online, and out came the price match offer. Now all I have to do is bring in a printed copy of the sale price, and I don't even have to worry about shipping and handling costs!

"I hear from people all the time that clipping and organizing coupons is too time consuming. I understand! While I do use coupons and watch the sales, my biggest weapon in grocery saving is price matching.

Price matching can get you fresh fruits and veggies for 50% less just by checking out your local grocery ads. My plan of attack is to round up my local ads and make a list of their prices. Most local grocery ads only run 5-8 fruit or veggie items in their sale ad per week. Take your ads and your list and go to Walmart.

Walmart price matches, they are everywhere and it's so EASY it's almost a crime not to do it!

That's it! EASY and no coupons. With about ten minutes of prep time, you have just saved approximately 50% or more and did not have to clip one coupon!

Just to give you an example of how sweet price matching can be, this was a price match from two weeks ago I did.

Aldi Price Walmart Price
Celery $0.69 $0.99
10 lb. Russet potatoes $1.49 $3.99
1 lb. Baby carrots $0.45 $1.88
1 lb. Yellow onions $0.23 $0.69
Pineapple $0.99 $2.98
4 lbs. Navel oranges $1.29 $3.00

That's what I call FABULOUS SAVINGS!!! And not one coupon clipped!"

Question: why not just shop at Aldi to begin with, if it's so much cheaper--what's the fascination with WallyWorld?
